It started with a child's room

Tin Marín was born from something we lived at home.
The wall we could not find
When we were looking for a way to decorate our son's room, we went from shop to shop. We found furniture, textiles and a few children's pictures, but no Guatemalan brand devoted to creating a world of its own for children's rooms.
What there was came mostly from abroad, with generic designs and no easy way to build a wall that truly went together. You had to buy an illustration, find somewhere to print it, work out the size and the frame, and then guess how it would all look together.
One complete story for the wall
Tin Marín puts it all together: curated illustrations, printed on fine-art paper, framed and ready to hang. We do not just sell a picture; we sell the chance to tell a small story on the wall, with pieces we already chose to belong together.
That is why we launch small collections instead of hundreds of loose options: each one is a whole wall, thought out from the first frame to the last.
The name
Tin Marín comes from the rhyme we all played as children: «De tin marín de do pingüé…». It sounds like a game, like rhythm and childhood memories, and that is how we want every room to feel: playful, nostalgic, gentle and a little magical.
